At the 17th Annual Adult S-p-e-l-l-i-n-g Bee on November 12 two teams squared off for the final two rounds: Bee-lievers from St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and Logophiles from JAARS. In the 12th round, Logophiles defended its 2014 win and correctly spelled ‘synonymous.’

First Baptist Church in Monroe


Congratulations to the "Logophiles" from JAARS for winning the 15th Annual Adult Spelling Bee.  They will be home to the traveling “Beetrice” Trophy for the next year!

The "Gud Spelers" from St. Luke's Lutheran Church won the "Best Dressed" prize. 

The "Mineral Stings" representing Town of Mineral Springs won the Spirit Stick for their great fan base!
