

When Juanita began her job as a production line assembler, understanding instructions about how to do her job was difficult. Her tutor, Tony, supplemented the Laubach curriculum with role-play activities such as making doctor’s appointments. Building her dialogue skills—plus using software in our lab to build vocabulary—helped improve her English skills. This fall, Juanita’s supervisor promoted her to inspect the production line for quality!
